This route starts in San Pellegrino Terme (360 mt.), where is possible to park in the square placed closed to the first the old train station (Pizzeria Internazionale). From the parking area starts the bike road, which takes you to the village of San Giovanni Bianco (401 mt.).



From San Giovanni Bianco you have to keep the asphalt road, along the Brembo River, to the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge). Crossed this bridge, turn right and go up to get the asphalt road, which takes you to Camerata Cornello (420 mt.). Now you have to follow the road indication to the village of Portiera (533 mt.) and cross another bridge. Up to this point the real ascent slope starts on asphalt road (6 km. for a slope of almost 600 mt.). Once at the gate of an old mine the ascend slope (dirt road) becomes easy for cycling and takes you to the village of Dossena (989 mt.).

From Dossena follow the road direction to Serina and, after a short downhill, to Corone (1.003 mt), where, closed the Miramonti Hotel, you will find the path direction to Lepreno. Got and crossed the village of Lepreno (825 mt.), take a dirt road the follows the south side of the Gioco Mountain, until a little chapel, where the downhill starts (dirt and asphalt) to the village of Santa Croce (778 mt.). Here just after the church of the village, on the right side, starts a funny downhill on mule track, which takes you to San Pellegrino Terme
